Do condoms always protect people from getting STDS or AIDS?

While it is widely believed by scientists everywhere that condoms are a strong, though imperfect, barrier to most STDs, measurements of effectiveness against microbes other than HIV just haven't been widely done. Although Coburn and conservative groups like the Family Research Council acknowledge that properly used condoms protect against HIV, they have harped on the fact that research on other STDs is spotty.
"It's very hard to track a microbe from person to person," says Maurizio Macaluso, an STD epidemiologist at the University of Alabama School of Public Health, in Birmingham. "To do really good research you need to start with a cohort of virgins and carefully trace each contact they have."
It is also clear, however, that most people who use condoms some of the time -- that's about half the sexually active U.S. population -- aren't entirely successful at avoiding sexually transmitted germs. There are many reasons for this, including the fact that condoms break or slip off in sex about 3 percent of the time. In a much larger percentage of cases, however, condoms fail because people who describe themselves as "condom users" either put them on after an initial period of penetration, or fail to put them on every time.

Christina condoms might, and I say might loosley, portect you from STDs but they cannot protect you from AIDs.
Only You can protect Christina from AIDS and you know just how to do that!
Keep your precious little leggs closed until you are married and you have had a blood test before you and your future hubby get married.
Now wear a longer skirt and cover up some of that cleavage young lady.

No they don't
Nessa and Advice are right. Condoms can not always protect from STD's. I know 4 people who have gotten STD's and they all used protection. Guys tend to be a bit more vunerable because the liquids women excrete from the vagina can seep into the thin skin of a man's scrotum. So men can catch the diseases easier. Due to men having the tendency to sleep around, the disease is spread about aswell. Condoms are a good source of protection but are not always fullproof. Best bet is to wait for the right man and save yourself for him. Make she he isn't a pig and sleeps around too. You don't want to catch the disease from him commiting adultry.

comdom protect from STD
condom is not 100% safe. It may possible to have STD problem after using the condom. Lot's of available to prevent the STD
